Anomalies

Anomalies are events or phenomena that do not follow conventional physics or logic, either formed naturally or through the ideas and emotions of humanity once they attach to an item, person, or place.

Anomalies are classified using a system specified on This Page.

Common, predictable causes of anomalies include an object's exceptional age, the genuine belief of an imbecile that he has created a miraculous item, or religious faith going unchallenged in an area for long periods of time. There are an estimated 4,000 yearly reported cases in non-altered areas, with quadruple that in areas of particular interest to the Association. An area of land can become considered altered when about 50 anomalous cases are reported in said area.

While many anomalies are not predictable, there are a few phenomena which can be predicted with perfect accuracy; one of which is so-called "Angels" and so-called "Nephilim", as the origin for these phenomenon has been traced back to the factual basis of the Book of Enoch. The Watcher Incident was an event in which deformed exiles from an advanced lost civilization were placed into a non-altered area and the rampant faith in that area attached a Jupiter-Class anomaly to their specific deformities, which transferred to their human-hybrid offspring in a more limited capacity, forming the biological basis for both "Angels" and "Nephilim".

Here are some common anomalies;
