Department; Occult Mystery Research, Testing Subdivision.
Experiment; RC-2 Φ.
Purpose; Regarding the expedition to harvest the new filth from the ocean.
To the Director;
Your sudden decision to place The Subject in a situation where he must deal with a great number of unfamiliar individuals, all of which are in full control of their personal anomalies, worries me greatly. They may be criminals and company property, yes, but they are also vastly powerful.
You're not even planning to stoke his ego as a leader, either, you've set him up to undergo great pain at no benefit other than a sliver of a chance to dredge up that which humanity can never undo from the depths of the ocean.
I understand your appeal to experience, to the call to action, but what I need you to understand, what WE need you to understand, is that what mankind has left brewing down there isn't just physical filth, not just conceptual filth, it is filth of a pure kind, one that will be able to corrupt anything; mind, body, and soul. If you sincerely believe he can handle consuming such a thing, I'm willing to turn him over to the captain. I, however, do not believe he has it in him, and we will be scraping together what little will remain of his flesh to at least apply its curative properties to RC-1.
On the topic of the captain, are you sure you can trust him? He's reportedly started manifesting his Demon, and it's possible that he could end up losing himself to a negative pact, or worse, lose himself to the demon.
If the prophesy is to be believed, all who board the ship will die, excwept for the Subject, who will emerge caked in blood and full of filth equating to all the world's evil.
